Well, people let me tell you:
GETTING RID OF THE TELEVISION WAS ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS WE HAVE EVER MADE!
Last year we must have been brain washed! We were going to buy a house costing $150,000 and begin all over with a 30 year mortgage ...not to mention the $20,000 in CASH they wanted for us just to sign the paper! I was selling everything...We were obsessed We thought we DESERVED a big nice house. Never mind that we make $25,000 a year! Yep, the bank was gonna let us have this house. Our payments were gonna be anywhere from $750 a month to a $1000 a month, depending on how much we could really come up with as a down payment.
We were completely and totally IGNORANT. Ignorant just like the rest of the world and led to believe that yes, as poor as we are, that we FREAKING deserve that nice house too....Cause it's only fair, we are good people, we have put our 18 years in in this "beginner" house, the house that I paid $47,500 for 18 years ago and a house that unfortunately 18 years later is still only worth $47,500 if not less. We put our house on the market and I think the only offer we got was for $35,000!!!!
Yep, we were foolish, stupid, just plain freaking CRAZY! But in the end, we decided that we did NOT want to work until we are 70 just to pay the mortgage. We decided that we didn't JUST want a "fancy" house and no toys. We decided that we don't DESERVE a fancy house and that is NOT who we are!!! Yep, probably not many people admit that....
We live in a less than 1000 square feet "shit box" with one bathroom. We don't have a shop even though we build motorcycles. We barely get by....BUT we ONLY live for our toys and we put EVERYTHING into them.
If we would have bought that house, we would have been giving up who WE ARE! Selling out, becoming zombies, just more white trash in a fancy house, just more people sucked into believing that if you don't live in a $350,000 house then you live in a piece of crap. If you don't believe me, just tune in to the Today Show where they talk about how YOU, yes YOU, can find a "good" house for under $350,000!! Makes me freaking SICK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Funny how when I mentioned to people that we were getting this $150,000 house, all of a sudden THEIR piece of crap was worth $300,000, I mean it didn't freaking end!!! People were so freaking jealous that WE were going to go into debt for 30 years!!!!! WTF????? These people don't OWN their houses. Funny how 20 years ago or even a couple years ago the same people still owe the SAME amount on the same property! Anyway, it was just freaking unbelievable that EVERYONE was trying to get into the rat race, EVERYONE wanted to tell me how THEIR house was SO much better than the freaking mansion we were buying and on and on.
In the end- WHO GIVES A SHIT ABOUT WHAT OTHER PEOPLE ARE LIVING IN??????? No one "owns" their house anyways.....
In the end we came to our senses and a year later we are living with NO TV~~~ My, how GOD works in mysterious ways. Unbelievable I now LOVE LOVE LOVE my little house and really can't ever see moving! Sometimes you don't know what lies ahead but you have to trust in GOD to pave the way. And what a way he did. (If for some reason you think I am CRAZY from writing one extreme to then talking about GOD, well a- holes- I am!!!) But guess what, GOD knows it and he is ok with it- or he has been so far- tomorrow could be another story. Don't get me started about the "holier than though" types- I live for GOD, not people, sheeple, ZOMBIES!!!!!
Anyways........................the point of this post was how we have gotten rid of the TV and I was going to get into what we DO without a TV. Here's a small list:
(1) My house is totally clean by 9 am
(2) Read the BIBLE
(3) Promote, promote and promote
(4) Practice all the things I am learning to do, such as welding, pin striping and other CRAZY ideas I have
(5) Play with my dog and hedgehogs more
(6) Exercise an hour a day and take my 20 vitamins and supplements plus get all of my water daily
(7) Work more on the bikes and hotrods
(8) Read all of my FREE magazine subscriptions or magazines that we are in
(9) Tye dye and design my outfits and look for unique items to make into wearble art.
(10) I do WHATEVER I want, hahahaha
